Hej, jag har fått ett ganska otäckt stenskott på frontplåten, precis på kanten framför höger popuplampa. Jag pratade med en billackerare idag och enligt honom så skulle lagningen gå på ca 2100:-. Visserligen har jag råd att lägga ut det, men är knappast sugen på det om jag skulle kunna komma undan billigare. Jag undrar om man skulle kunna laga skadan själv utan att det skulle synas att man hade gjort det, om man slipade lite, la på bättringsfärg och sedan klarlackade och polerade? Eller tror ni att det skulle vara för synligt?

sen när allt e klart så polerar man upp där man har lacklagat.

Seriöst så låter det som en riktigt god idé! Det var inte alls dumt. För om man duttar bättringsfärg och våtslipar kan man jämna ut det så pass att man inte ser någon nämnvärd skillnad. Och om man skulle göra fel så våtslipar man området lite extra. När man är klar tillsätter man klarlack och polerar som en galning.

sen när man har lagt på klarlack så kan man behöva våtslipa lite runt där man inte har sprayat så man får en snygg kant som ikke syns

Tipset att peta in lite färg med en pensel är inte så dumt, för det brukar inte bli bra om du kör med vanlig sprayburk eftersom det nästan alltid blir sprutdimma i ytterkanterna av det området du har sprutat på. Att polera bort enkomponents-dimma är inte så lätt som det kan verka. Jag skulle nog göra som förslaget var med en liten pensel, vänta någon dag och sedan vattenslipa hela fronteplåten med ett mycket fint vattenslippapper och sedan polera med en vanlig poler-maskin efteråt.
