Att dom blir immiga är av den anledningen att det kommer in fukt i lykthusen. Antigen så släpper gummitätningen in fukt eller så har silikon fogen som håller glaset på plats torkat och släppt.


1/ Skär loss silikonet samtidigt som man bänder upp glaset. OBS!!!! Var försiktig då man lätt kan ta i för mycket och ha sönder glaset.
2/ Rengör spåret från allt gammalt silikon samt glaset.
3/ Rengör med sprit så att den nya massan fastnar.
4/ Lägg en ny silikon fog. Tar man en grå färg så får man en snygg linje i glaset som dom var nya.

Ja, siliconet har en förmåga att släppa från glaset. Men det är iof bra för då är det lätt att få av glaset så att man kan få ut reflektorn och smörja upp de tröga justerskruvarna bakom. Varning dock för siliconspray, jag fick det på reflektorn och det löste upp kromet så att det blev svarta ränder när jag gned på det

När det gäller fukten gjorde jag tvärtom, jag borrade upp några luft-/dräneringshål i framkanten på lampan samt några bakom gummistöden i bakkant på lampan. Det blev bättre än innan, det torkar ut i sol och när fjärrljusen används men fukten kommer tillbaka i blöt väderlek.

Bara en liten inflikning. Jag tycker slicon på lång sikt inte är en höjdare, då det släpper. Man behöver lite bättre tätningsmassa. Jag föredrar epoxilim eller någon form av polyerutanmassa.

Rengör glaset och kanten. Lägg gärna glaset i diskmaskinen. Lägg i tätning i kanten, tryck dit glaset.
