Glapp färddator eller?

Hej!

Det är så att jag har ett litet irriterande problem. Min färddator försvinner ibland. Under vintern har den fungerat hur bra somhelst. Men för någon vecka sedan försvann den igen. Den brukar komma tillbaka, men den har varit borta i ett par veckor nu. Lamporna i instrumentpanelen fungerar men jag kan inte se några siffror. Ska jag löda om på färddatorn eller vad tror ni elmekaniker?
Tänkte köpa en begagnad färddator på skroten men jag vet inte om den fungerar och inte de på skroten heller. Kan jag på ett enkelt sätt kolla om den begagnade fungerar?
Ska jag plocka bort hela instrumentpanelen som det står i Haynes boken?

Jag tycker du ska ta dig en kik bakom instrumentet innan du bestämmer dig för att byta för byter du hela instrumentet så stämmer ju inte milantalet längre. Ta och skruva bort den svarta ramen runt hela instrument panelen, den är inte så svår att få loss men vissa skruvar sitter lite jömda. Sen fattar du nog resten.

Det är så att jag har tänkt att bara byta ut färddatorn inte hela panelen. För det behöver jag väl inte eller?

Byter jag färddatorn så händer det väl inget med milantal mm.

Jag har skruvat och kollat i instrument huset och det är möjligt att det går att få ut dator visaren men då måste man nog nästan skruva isär hela istrumentet och det är ett väldigt pill.

nja det är inte så farligt att demontera färddatorn, en massa små skruvar bara och så får man ju inte bruka våld, behövs inte heller för den delen.
Jag här även plockat isär själva färddatorn, detta rekomenderar jag ej som åtgärd om ni inte är helt säkra på att ni igentligen skulle slänga den.

Ett problem jag har stött på vid ett par tillfälle när man har öppnat instrumentet är att andra saker slutar fungera. Så ska man göra detta så ta tid på dig. Löda ALLA kontakter i hela instrumentet och se över kontaktstift putsa med 3M duk eller något som inte "äter" på materialet då det förstör ytan och gör det lättare för framtida ärg att få fäste.
Försöka att klämma ihop hondelaen av kontakterna lite oxå. Var väldigt försiktig så du inte deformerar något.

Vet inte hur våldsam du är Sellgren men är man bara noggrann och försiktig så går det bra, eller ja det blir inte sämre.

Ett litet tillägg är ju att på min ES -87 har jag nog haft av det 10-15ggr. Som bäst gick allt på under 20 min. Första gången tog det 2 timmar, med all lödning då. Men som ni förstår så varade det inte så länge. "Fick" även 3 instrument från skroten. Men orginal sitter fortfarande i...... Trasigt

En annan sak. Den bilen jag har hittat på skroten är från en senare version. Skulle tippa på att det är en 91. Jag har en 87:a.
Är det någon skillnad på dessa färddatorer om jag nu skulle ta och byta ut den äldre?
