EGR ventilen får motorn att nästintill dö vid tomgång

Hej igen allihopa,

Har i princip sedan jag köpt 480n inte kunnat använda EGRen då den får motorn att gå VÄLDIGT dåligt. Om den inte dör så hostar den och går väldigt ojämnt på tomgång, men så fort jag drar bort vacuum slangen från modulatorventilen så börjar den gå normalt igen.
Har provat med att både byta samt undersöka modulatorventilen för att se om den kanske inte varit dålig utan resultat. Har öppnat EGRen och även rengjort där utan att det hjälpt någonting. Felet kvarstår och jag blir tvingad att köra utan EGR vilket leder till minskad effektivitet.

Någon som vet vad felet kan vara?

Om egr:n går in då du kopplar på slangen så innebär det att någonting kopplar in den felaktigt. Den ska bara aktiveras på höga temperaturer (alltså kärning med mycket gas=hög temperatur)

Sök felet i styrningen, följ luftslangarna och vad det är som släpper på vakumet. (ex vakumtemperaturventilen som jag tror sitter under ett kylrör framtill på motorn)

Jasså? Men EGRen medför sänkt förbränningstemperatur och detta borde i sin tur innebär ökad effektivitet då en mindre mängd energi går till spillo i form av värme.

Jag har kört utan EGR ett bra tag nu, men jag tänkte att det kanske var dags att göra någonting åt saken. Tanken är ju att allt i bilen ska fungera. Kan det vara så att modulatorventilen får felaktiga signaler från datorn? Det kommer ett konstant vacuum till modulatorventilen (vilket det ska göra) och modulatorventilen är dum nog att öppna hela tiden (vilket den inte ska göra), vilket resulterar i en katastrofal tomgång.

Ok, men då måste ju vara datorn så ger den en felaktig instruktion, eller hur? Jag menar, jag har bytt modulatorventilen utan någon som helst förändring. Finns det något mer som skulle kunna vara orsaken?
Provade förresten koppla in vacuumledningen till modulatorventilen och jag hann inte ens koppla in den helt förrän motorn dog i princip. Den gick ner till VÄLDIGT låga varv och jag trodde att den hade dött så jag drog omedelbart utan vacuumledningen och vips! Motorn var vid liv igen.

Sen tänkte jag på det där med EGRens effekt Jonas och kan inte släppa att det du säger skiljer sig så mycket ifrån det jag läst på wikipedia. Någon måste ha gjort en stort fel när de skrev det, men du kan väl ta och kika på det för att se vart mina argument kommer ifrån http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egr
