Nybliven ägare till en "för-den-händig" -90á turbo (chippad), kikar jag lite på delar som behövs/saknas mm.
Är ingen expert på beninmotorer precis, men men...
Bilen - motorn går fint: hyffsat jämnt och med bra tomgång, "låter bra" från motorn. Svarar fint vid gasning.
På bränslefördelningsröret skall det enl. res.d.bok sid 23/108 (109) sitta någon form av filter eller liknande (med liten fläktmotor) monterat från/på "manteln". Detta saknas helt på min bil-motor. Vad har detta filter för roll/funktion? Behövs det eller går det lika bra utan?!? Som det ser ut idag så sitter inga delar alls monterat på manteln. (3, 7, 8 mm saknas helt).

Har orginal luftfilter också. Bör jag eller är det värt att byta/modifiera detta luftfilter (insug). Ser ut att vara monterar precis enl. insruktionsboken. Man får väl ett par "ponnys" till om insuget fixas lite!?

Hej när jag köpte min -90 turbo för c:a 2 år sedan trodde jag också att det fattades något vilket det iochförsig gör, på dom tidiga modellerna av turbo satt det en liten fläkt son blåste in kall luft på insprutarna men det blev tydligen tillval sedan så att den delen saknas på din bil är nog helt naturligt, skulle tro att det i varmare klimat än här kan ha en viss funktion men har själv inte haft några problem trots två varma sommrar och mycket stadskörning. Beträffande luftfiltret så kan man ju montera ett sportluftfilter som kanske ger några små ponnys mer men det är väl knappast värt dom pengarna däremot får du ju ett klart tuffare insugningsljud som i sej kan vara värt en del.

Ja man blir ju lite nyfiken när det bara är ett hål med en slangklämma runt!!
Men då verkar det som om jag kan låta det vara som det är!!

Då bilen ännu så länge bara är en ren bruksbil, så får jag väl se hur mycket man skall lägga ner på den (inköpt för 7000 kr). Men jag måste ju erkänna att det nog var ett av de bästa "misstag" jag gjort! Köpet av 480 alltså
Kanske jag i alla fall byter till en filter med lite bättre luftgenomsläpp till att börja med.
