Kärvande handbromsarmar 480T 88a

Hej!
Börjar närma sig besiktning, så dax att göra något åt handbromsen på min 480T 88a vilken aldrig fungerat under mitt ägande sedan december.

Har ingen tidigare erfarenhet av bromsmeckande, men började peta vid ett tidigare tillfälle då jag upptäckte att:
1. Ena vajern lossnat från justerklykan under bilen.
2. Bakre vajrarna kärvade.
3. Armarna som vajrarna är fästa i på oket var väldigt tröga, fick ta i rejält med en skruvmejsel för att bända tillbaka dem till ursprungsläget.

Gjorde ett försök att sätta dit den befintliga vajern, med resultatet att jag fick i handbromsen, men inte ur den.. Kom knappt framåt.

Så, har nu köpt nya bakre vajrar, och ska göra ett nytt försök. Med behöver hjälp:
-Vad gör man åt de kärvande armarna?
