Hej!
Jag har kört tre 480 turbo modeller -88, -90, -92. Samtliga älskar att ta slut på kylarvatten. Är det någon annan som märkt samma fenomen.
Finns det något att göra? Bilarna har aldrig läckt en droppe vätska - alltså stillastående.

[Hej, kan bara instämma, min 480 S-92 utan Turbo tycks gilla att få kylarvatten försvinna spårlöst, den har varit på felsökning ang det men det fanns inget läckage att hitta. Kanske har det ett samband med fuktiga kupér?...Kylarvattnet lyckas på ngt metamorforiskt sätt hoppa över till kupén..Skoja bara..ang sambandet...

Ja visst! Man börjar ju undra. Fg. ägare bytte tom värmeelementet inne i kupén för han trodde det var det som läckte. Men men....... bara att fylla på.....

jag fick en ilsken färddator häromdagen... 120+ grader i motorn... fyllde på vatten så blidde den glad igen... så det verkar vara normalt fel... eller skönhetsdefekt hur man nu vill se det =)

Felsökning av kylarläckage på 480 är inte lätt med det går, man bör införskaffa en pump att trycka systemet med. Denna kan man säkert låna på någon mack motsv. Med denna kan man sätta ca 1 kg tryck och sedan se vart det läcker.

Vanligt är att det läcker lite och detta försvinner längs med ledningar, styrning mm men bara under färd=expansion.

På min bil hade jag tre läckage samtidigt, den övre kylarslangen vid termostaten, ett vid kylvätskepumpen (el) och ett vid över kylarlsangen till kylaren.

Man kan ju alltid prova med att spänna alla, ALLA! slangklammrar.
