Gnällande styrservo!?

Jag har precis köpt mig en 480 ES årsmodell -90 och jag har följande lilla problem:
Det är så att det gnäller i styrningen. Jag har varit med om att styrservon gnällt det sista biten mot fullt rattutslag men på denna bil låter det från mittpunkten och ut till fullt rattutslag. Finns det någon som har en idé vad detta beror på och vad man kan göra åt det?
En egen gissning är att det är servon som ger ifrån sig ljud men jag har inte lyckats få det bekräftat..
